Protecting Constitutional Freedom at Work

Mission Statement

Americans for Fair Treatment (AFFT) is a national nonprofit that empowers workers—especially public sector employees—to exercise and protect their constitutional rights in the workplace.

What We Do & Why It Matters

AFFT stands with workers—especially in the public sector—where constitutional rights are most directly implicated. We help employees understand their rights, amplify their voices through advocacy, and take legal action when those rights are threatened—ensuring free and informed workplace choices without fear of retaliation or discrimination.

We educate employees on their freedom to opt out of union membership, avoid mandatory dues, and prevent those dues from funding political causes. We protect workers from retaliation and discrimination for exercising their constitutional rights.
